About LetterPress.

Established in 1997

LetterPress Consulting is a dba of LetterPress Software, Inc. We were founded in 1997 by Leston Drake, Mike Petersen and Mark Lacy (retired).

Our Team

Included in our team of professionals are learning engineers, graphic artists, web programmers, and business consultants. We know what it takes (effort, commitment, a healthy sense of humor, some late nights) to deliver on our mission of improving people’s lives through learning.

Our Name

Johannes Gutenberg invented the modern printing press, the letterpress, in the 15th century. This movable type press revolutionized access to books and printed material throughout the world. Prior to the letterpress, books were rare and nearly inaccessible to the common person. The letterpress brought books and knowledge to the masses. At LetterPress, we want to bring learning to the masses. Our mission is to engineer technology-based learning experiences that improve people’s personal and professional lives.
